QUAIL HUNTING

The Bob White Quail, called by many the "King of Game
Birds," is found in large quantities at Broxton Bridge Plantation. We have acres and
acres of wildlife of milo, millet, corn, soybeans, and bicolor lespedeza. You will be able
to hunt through excellent cover provided by these food patches, open woodland, weed and
broom sage fields.Our Guides will work to match the cover to the shooting ability of our
guests. |
| You will be transported to the fields by your guide, where
you can walk or ride as you wait for our well-trained Pointers and Brittanys to get
"locked down" on a big covey. You might want to bring your camera to record some
of this fast action. Up to 6 people can go on this hunt but we only allow two guns on the
ground at once. The hunters can swap around every 15-20 minutes as they watch and tell
yarns as the other 2 hunt. Good walking boots are essential and we prefer that shooters
wear a red safety vest, which we will be happy to loan you. |

Consider an all-day quail hunt or a half-day of quail hunting combined with one of the many other hunts that are available to you for a variety of fun and shooting. You can bring your own dog if you like. Book early and often. Remember we need a minimum of 2 to put this hunt on.
Cost is $245 per hunter for a 1/2 day hunt and includes 12 quails,
guide and dog. Extra quail are $8.00 each. |
